What are your dreams for the future?

When Cathy Freeman was a young girl, she had a dream that she would one day win Olympic Gold.

"Growing up I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to experience a quality education and recognise my potential as an athlete. With opportunities and the right support, I was able to fulfill my dream of achieving Olympic gold."

Edward who is 15 years old and lives on Palm Island dreams of becoming an air force pilot and travelling the world. He recently attended a Horizons trip to Sydney, which united students from our four partner communities on a journey of personal development, confidence-boosting, career advice and goal setting.

At the end of each day, the students get together to talk about their day and write in their journals. At the end of the week, they make a powerful statement of what they dream of for their future and some of them even have the courage to say it out loud in front of their peers. We are so proud of the students we work with! What are your dreams for the future?
