Stride for Education was our inaugural virtual running event in 2020.

This event was free to participate, for all abilities and fundraising was not compulsary. We just wanted people to get involved and spread the word!

The challenge was to run, walk or wheel as many kilometres as possible between October 10th and November 10th. If you wanted to test yourself, the aim was to hit 115 kilometres - this is the average distance between our partner communities and their nearest major town.

Stride for Education was aimed at people of all fitness levels. Every kilometre clocked up contributed and was a stride closer to supporting kids in community to realise their goals through our education programs.

In collaboration with Running Heroes the aim of Stride for Education was to increase awareness of the work of the Foundation within the communities.
